I remember my first digital camera. It didn't have an LCD screen or removable storage and it only took around 16 photos before it needed to be plugged into a computer. Looking back, that 1 megapixel camera was a rudimentary piece of equipment, but it was my camera and I was going to capture my life.

Photography has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I knew there was something so incredibly special about being able to freeze time and capture a moment that can be treasured for years to come.

While in College, I began working as a preschool teacher and years later became a nanny for the most amazing family. In 2016, I had children of my own, twin daughters, Abigail and Gianna. These experiences taught me two things. First, that I love children, and second, that children are some of the best subjects to photograph. Nothing compares to capturing the pure beauty and candid smiles of a child.

Shortly before my honeymoon , I purchased my first DSLR before traveling to Hawaii in order to thoroughly document the adventure. I then fell in love with photographing landscapes. The world has so much beauty and I want to capture it all with my camera.

In 2013, after studying photography for years I decided to turn my professions into my career. I purchased a professional DSLR , lighting setups, and many other items that I would need to successfully run my business.

Today I attend conferences and workshops regularly in order to continue to better my skills. I am also a member of the Kings Park Photography Club. One of the things I love the most about photography is that there is always something new to learn. It is an art that is ever changing and there is always room to grow.

I look forward to working with you. - Luann Reifert
